Some of my Featured Images aren’t working. In my media library, they are the only files with this odd message: 9 sizes compressed | 9 files removed | Total savings 81.1 kB

The files look to be in my uploads directory, so why the message? Whatever it is, something’s broken. Should I just replace the image(s) and re-compress? Or is there an easier way to clear the “files removed” message”?

With the new update released today we have made a lot of improvements and the compression status has been simplified, the example you gave would now read “9 sizes compressed | Total savings 45%”. We would be happy to hear your experience with these improvements.

Thank you for the support on my original issue. As we discussed, I had to use a Rebuild Thumbnails plugin to fix the broken images. All is well now.

The Version 2 Plugin’s Bulk Optimization feature is beautiful!
