Files Types And Size with WP 2.0

    Searching through the archive I’ve found multiple posts on this topic, but reading though the theads I’ve seen no real solutions.

    Using WordPress 2.0+, and without editing core files, how do I set the maximum size of a file that can be uploaded? How can I restrict the file types that can be uploaded?

    Is there a plug-in for this funtionality?
