Seeing a bug with this application. When we delete a file and upload a new version that had the same file name, the old version still displays, even after flushing the cache. This only occurs with files uploaded to FileBird, if uploaded to the traditional WP media folder the behavior doesn’t occur. In other words, we uploaded a filed called XYZ.pdf. Deleted it, then uploaded a new version called XYZ.pdf (same file name), but the old version keeps displaying, even after we clear the cache. Only occurs with FileBird. On other sites where FileBird isn’t loaded and we use the traditional WordPress media folder the files update fine. We need to keep the same file name because we need to keep the same URL for other applications. Tried to submit a support ticket and get a continuous loop to verify our purchase.

    Hi @odiver27gmailcom ,

This is so unfortunate to know!

However, you can ultimately get supported without having to verify purchase code nor leave the plugin with bad ratings for the bug-sake. Its our job to fix any bug for you.

If you use PRO version, you can get support here:
    facebook.com/ninjateam.org

If you use Lite version, you can open a thread to get supported:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/filebird/

After we fix for you, then you can change the rating to 5 stars, please.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @odiver27gmailcom ,

We are sorry to hear that but the issue is not related to FileBird plugin.

Could you please check again what happens if you deactivate FileBird and then delete a file? Then check if that file is still in your wp-content/uploads/ folder?

If yes, maybe your server does not allow deleting files.

We are looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards,
    Kelly
