    Summary of the Issue:

    • My WordPress site is showing numerous errors on both the front-end and in the admin dashboard.
    • The error message “WPcom-block-editor-nux has encountered an error and cannot be rendered” frequently appears, affecting the block editor functionality.
    • The issue appears to be related to themes, plugins, or potentially corrupted WordPress core files.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Theme Deactivation:
      • I attempted to deactivate my current theme and switch to a default theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Three) via FTP. This did not resolve the issue.
    2. Reinstalled WordPress Core Files:
      • I re-downloaded and re-uploaded fresh WordPress core files (excluding wp-content) via FTP. The errors still persist.
    3. Checked File Permissions:
      • I ensured that file and folder permissions are set correctly (755 for folders and 644 for files).
    4. Checked PHP Version:
      • The site is running PHP version 7.4, which is compatible with WordPress, but the issue remains.
    5. Checked Error Logs:
      • I reviewed the server error logs, which pointed to several conflicting issues related to the theme and possibly the server environment. However, I was unable to identify the exact cause.
    • In addition to the above issues, I am also seeing the following error in the dashboard:
“WPcom-block-editor-nux has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.”
This error is preventing me from using the block editor properly.
    • At this point, the WordPress dashboard is displaying multiple errors, and I am unable to perform any further actions. I am reaching out to see if this is potentially a server-side issue, as none of the above steps resolved the problem.

    Request for Assistance:

    • Could you please investigate whether this could be a server-side issue? It’s possible there might be issues related to the server configuration or conflicts with server resources.
    • Alternatively, is it possible to delete everything and start fresh? If so, I would appreciate guidance on the best steps to take to reset my installation without causing further problems.

    Hi @msnedzi ,

In this case, I would recommend you reach out to your hosting support, as the permissions are related to server settings.

“Error: /htdocs/wp-content/plugins/pinterest-for-woocommerce: open for read: no such file or directory”
