• Hi,
I’ve just installed the Filosofo Home-Page Control plugin. I created a page called “Home” and set it to be the homepage, but it seems to ignore me and a blog entry is still the homepage. I pressed the button to update the permalink structure but to no avail. Anyone know what might be wrong? I’m using 2.0.2 or WordPress and 0.7.3 of the plugin.

  • Same problem here. WordPress 2.0.5.

Had this problem once, as I recall it it had something to with another plugin, think it was this one:
    https://fucoder.com/code/permalink-redirect/

I’m having similar issues, and I just upgraded to 2.1 which has the plugin installed. Here’s my problem: I created a static home page that is different from the blog main page, named home.php. That displays properly as the index page of the site. I still have the index.php file in the template folder unaltered. I want the index blog to appear as a subfolder called blog. I did the following steps:
-changed the blog address to mysitename.com/blog in the general options window
-created a new page named blog and set the slug to “blog”
-under Reading Options, set the front page to “Your latest posts” and selected “blog” for the Posts page

When i go to the blog page I created (the URL that’s linked in the navigation is “?page_id=7”), it displays the created static page, but no blog entry shows up (I oonly have one entry as of now). When I click on the archive link in the sidebar, I get the following message in the browser “No input file specified.” What did I do wrong?

hm i have problems after installing folosofo on wordpress 2.1. since i install it, i have many errors and i can see just home page, every other link isnt working and says that page doesnt existing. i dont know what to do! i use ocean theme but now there’s just a blank page with some links?
how i can use my old database on new instalation of wordpress?
    urgent!

I am using Filosofo Home-Page Control on WP 2.1 and it works fine so that isn’t the cause of your problem. It is most likely some other plugin or possibly even the theme (are you sure it is updated to be 2.1 compatible).

Did you disable all plugins when updating?
