Filter albums on name or date

Hi,

I’m using the Photonic plugin on my site to satisfaction.
I’m showing picasa albums on a ‘photos’ pages…but as there are quite some older albums i’d like to filter on album name or date. Note thate the date is embedded in the album name so filtering on name should be fine for me.
With this i should be able only to show the albums of let’s say 2014.

Howver i cannot find anything on filtering. Is thsi somehow supported by the plugin ?
Any help is appreciated.
