Filter attribute site bar not showing on my theme

    Hi guys,

    I am having issue Filter attribute is not showing on site bar on my theme.

    * I set up Product attribute correctly, the filter does show on the “Woo commerce Product page”.

    *however, if I use Woo commerce product page, I can not really customise it. So I created the new page and use product short code from Woo commerce document, but then the Filter attribute do now show up at all on the side bar.

    I spend hours searching on the forum and I can not really find any post related to my issue.

    Sorry for the trouble there. It’s not possible to filter a list of products created with a shortcode using the attribute filters widget.

    The way those filters work is the add a string to the end of the URL. That’s what lets the site know that a filter is active. In the shop archive or a category archive, these filters can be used, but if you add the URL string to another page it won’t have an effect.

    There is an extension called Product Filters that can be used to filter shortcode product lists. You might take a look at that and see if it will meet your needs.
