Filter by Attribute randomly vanished from my sidebar. What’s weird is some attributes work, others do not. It’s not limited to this.., but one of the attributes that isn’t working has a lot of attributes, specifically 63 attributes.
Some others don’t have as many attributes maybe 10-20 but still aren’t loading. Some that have only a few attributes maybe 3-4 do in-fact still work (?).

What gives. I had to roll back to woocommerce 5.2 from 6.3.1 to resolve the issue but I feel like that’s a lot of versions back.

I tried a few others like 6.2 and 6.1. Could not resolve the issue any other way and wanted to give a heads-up so that I don’t have to be so far behind on updates just to have filter by attribute working.

The other solutions I found to this problem no longer work because the code has been changed enough to where the answers are not relevant to the current version. Any tips?

Well now I have another issue.. I can’t use WooCommerce 5.3.2 because Stripe requires WooCommerce 5.7. Hm. Will try 5.7. And now it’s broken again.

I noticed the filter by attribute was only not working on 1 category, so I paused all of the products in a category (17) and now the filter by attribute is working again on the main store page. Another category remains with (21) and is now working. Still not sure what happened. To fix the category that I disabled all products in I will go through each individually until I find the issue.

The problem seems to have resolved itself after rollback, disabling all products in category that wasn’t working, and then re-enabling the products, and updating to current version. Not sure what to say but I guess this is fixed for now. I hope it doesn’t happen again randomly.

    Hi @tonybabich!

Thank you for the detailed explanation; it is weird behavior.

Could you please try a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront and disabling all plugins except WooCommerce? Then, check again if the issue persists. This way, we can be sure if there is any conflict with your theme or another plugin.

If you cannot perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let us know how that goes for you!
