1) In regards to your question from the other thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/filter-by-category-17/):
ultimate-faqs filter by category always show category 1 and category 2 it doesn’t show the categories that I’ve added.
After adding those new catagories, did you assign any FAQs to them? If a category doesn’t have any FAQs, then it won’t appear.
To add FAQs to a category, go to the FAQs tab, click “Quick Edit” on any FAQ and then select the relevant checkboxes under “FAQ Categories”. After that, click Update.
2) For your question about the Filter by Category section disappearing after updating:
Can you send us the link to your FAQ page? Also can you send us the shortcode you’re using on that page?
