• Hi

It seems that the ‘filter by category’ uses the slug to determine which language to show for categories. My permalinks are all in english so no matter which language I choose, category names are always in english. This problem only occurs for category names. All filter titles and attributes are translated correctly. How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Could you please provide your site url? I’m not sure that fully understand the problem core.

    Hi

    https://shawl.ee/product-category/shawls/

If I open this url, the site is in estonian. However if you see the filter menu on the left, the category names are displayed in english. I assume this has something to do with the slug because on the live site all slugs are in english. On my local testing site I have slugs in estonian and then all categories are always displayed in estonian.

This only occurs with categories, all other attribute filters work correctly. Hope this explains a bit better ??

    Hi,

With our plugin when you are translating with WPML you always need to translated everything: products, attributes, categories, filters, etc
And link them all with the correct language.

While simple output of the element is not hard to check what language is and if wrong get default with filters it is too complicated and will slow down the filters too much.

    Dima
