Filter by current category

  • Hi there,
    Is it possible to display posts filtered by the current category? I want to insert the same shortcode into different posts with different categories. But the displayed posts should be relevant for each category… Thanks

    Yes, it is possible to display posts filtered by the current category with the Content Views Pro version.

    But how? I see that you can select the category. But there is no such option as ‘filter by the current category’

    If you want to show posts of current category in the category archive page, it is possible with the Replace Layout feature in our Pro version.

    If you want to add shortcode to a single post page, to show other posts from the same category, then you can use [pt_view id="VIEW_ID_HERE" cat="GET_CURRENT"] with our Pro version.

    Thanks, that’s cool. Also, is it possible to display not posts, but specified categories? Like in the menu.

    Again, how? ?? I don’t see it in ‘Content type’, there are only post, page, media, all
