Filter by Custom Category not an option in Admin backend

    When I visit ALL POSTS I see a Table Navigation row and options to choose BULK ACTIONS, Filter by DATE, and Filter by CATEGORY.

    When I visit a CPT of RESOURCES, my Table Navigation row is missing the Filter by CATEGORY option. I am not able to filter by category. I have several RESOURCE categories set up, and they are populated with different resources.

    Hi,

    Is this “category” that you’re referring to the out of box category that’s also assigned to the “post” post type? or are they their own custom taxonomies?

    Asking because it seems the out of box one automatically gets the dropdown but other custom ones do not. They’re going to need to be their own custom implementation.
