    Hi Tobias,

Awesome plugin – really easy to use. I had a look at your extensions page about the row filtering. I know this isn’t possible at the moment, but would there be an easy way to filter a table by a date range?

e.g. in your first column you have a series of dates in some common format, and you only want to display rows that have in the first column the date greater than a particular date (or today’s date).

    Cheers,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,

    thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, at this time, the Filtering Extension can only do basic filtering, i.e. filtering for cells that contain the filter word. Performing “queries”, like for ranges of dates, is not possible, and unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity to add something like this at the moment. Even if I would, it would probably not be a good and fast solution. So, I’d actually recommend to use a database table for this, as querying is one of the main task of a DB system.

    Regards,
    Tobias
