Hi. Thanks for all your hard work on this useful plugin. I’m using it with the DataTables Column Filter option downloaded. While this works fine the default options don’t make sense for many numbers and dates, where ranges work better. The JS plugin does have date and number ranges but it seems they have to be built in to the table definition. Is it possible to tweak the way I call the table in order to allow for range searches on select columns?

Also, how to I get the search filters to appear in the header of table rather than the footer?

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of an easy way to allow range filtering here ?? For this, your best chance probably is to use custom code, until I can maybe find a good solution for the majority of users.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I appreciate your time and responsiveness. My user solved my problem by opting to make do with only the default search field. Thanks again.

    Hi,

that’s good news! I hope to be able to extend the filtering possibilities in the future, but at the moment, I don’t see easy approaches :-/

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
