Filter by viewing instead of just posting

It would be great if there were a way for users to filter what they view in their activity feeds the same way they can filter what they post.

That way, people who only want to see activity of their friends and themselves (similar to facebook) wouldn’t have their feed flooded by people that chose “everyone” when posting.
