Filter checkboxes are selected auto when going back from simple product page

Hello,
I have recently added a “go back” (?napoi) button to the single product page and I have realized that every time I use it and go back to all the products, the product filters are self-selecting in the bulk of 3 to 4 checkboxes. if I repeat the process it continues to select the next 4 and so on. The link to the page I go back to does not change but the radio buttons do change, sometimes they remain bolded without the checkbox, and sometimes, multiple sub-categories are self-selecting even if I intentionally selected the option to only allow 1 sub-category per search …

The problem only appears when a sub-category is selected, and I go into a single product and come back and each time will be a different “display of selections. Sometimes no selection with bold on main selection, sometimes multiple selections.”
