Filter Events by Venue (update)

Hi, I was given the mod code to add the feature “filter events by venue” on the admin page. This mod was given here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/filter-events-by-venue/

Are you looking to make this a permanent feature of the plugin or do I have to add this code every time the plugin is updated?
