Filter for copyright notice

    I’d like to modify the copyright notice in the Responsive Theme footer, so that the copyright reads

    Copyright <starting year> - <current year> <My custom text>

    Is this possible without overwriting footer.php in my child theme?

    Hi,

    Sorry but it’s not possible to change the copyright text without overwriting the footer.php file. If you are using a child theme you can directly override the footer.php file as the update will only change your parent theme and not the child theme.
