Hi community, please how do I stop woocommerce filter from filtering customized static contents in product pages, categories etc? I noticed it renders blank the customized footer contents having product properties built with static contents e.g recently viewed, customers also searched etc. Any help is appreciated.

Just as Recently Viewed product block displaying blank because none of the Recently Viewed items belong to the active category (agriculture). View screenshot https://prnt.sc/WivuvXpgWTvS

Customers also searched section showing blank because it has products from different categories and not agriculture. Meanwhile this sector is static content based.. Don’t want filter to hook into anything customized section but default or main products only

    Hi @yurbshop21,

Recently Viewed product block displaying blank because none of the Recently Viewed items belong to the active category (agriculture).

This isn’t actually true since I’m able to view a product from the Smart Phones & Tablets category while I’m in the Agricultural equipments & Machineries category.

Can you confirm how did you add the “You Recently Viewed” product block? I can think of the Recently Viewed Products list widget or via a third-party plugin, but can you let us know?

If that was added with a third-party plugin we’d suggest reaching out to the plugin developer directly for further assistance.

Thanks for checking through, you must have got this result selecting category from the filter associated with location or by direct search. This has been it’s behavior. If you had go through category section on homepage. You wouldn’t have achieved this. The selection box works directly with shop page and the Recently viewed and every other works good via shop unlike category display. I’m not using any third-party plugin to achieve the setup. Static content comes with my theme (electro). Thanks

    Hi @yurbshop21

    Thanks for clarifying.

Static content comes with my theme (electro)

Can you please check and tell us if the issue persists when you temporarily change the theme to the default Storefront?

If you don’t want to test that on your live production site, you can create a duplicate/staging site. Many hosting providers offer site staging facilities, but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin.

We’ll look forward to your response.

The static contents doesn’t reflect switching to storefront

    Hello @yurbshop21!

The static contents doesn’t reflect switching to storefront

In this case, I will suggest you reach your theme’s support to get this sorted. Please let us know how it goes.
