Filter JSON Posts

Hi,

I used a scraping tool to grab a few e-commerce items from site like amazon. I would like to filter the posts by category (I have a category column in my json). I was wondering if I can filter within the Shortcode (Only show categories with x value)

Please let me know if this is possible.
