Filter Next/Previous events by Category

    I am currently using the Category= option to just display events by a couple of different categories that I’ve defined. That part is working great! However, at the bottom of those events pages the Next and Previous options display the next/previous event in the whole database. Is it possible to just display the Next/Previous for that specific category?

    If this is tricky to do, is it possible to just remove the Next/Previous events options on the events page?

    You will need to ask this question over at The Events Calendar plugin forum. This plugin doesn’t do anything with the Next/Previous links.

    If this is tricky to do, is it possible to just remove the Next/Previous events options on the events page?

    This is possible if you delete or comment out the corresponding lines in single-event.php in your childtheme.

    @afragen — that was a late-night oops!! Sorry about that. Please close or delete this thread if possible as I did post it over there after catching this.

    @hage — thanks for the follow up but I posted shortly afterwards in The Events Calendar forum here that it’s possible to do so with just custom css. I am still hoping to modify the single-events.php page so if you do know how to do so please post a reply — over there, of course-:)
