Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything.

Filters widget state (opened/closed) is remembered by wpcWidgetStatus cookie value. And cache plugin may generates conflict with the widget state. To fix this you can add for cached pages dependency from the cookie value. For example for WP Super Cache it can be done via hook wp_cache_get_cookies_values. Other cache plugins should have own ways to generate different versions of cached pages in dependancy from a cookie value.

Of course it requires to be familiar with coding or ask a developer to help you. I would be glad to add this feature directly in plugin, but it requires to make some settings in your .htaccess file and is not possible to solve this problem for all users.

Following our conversation, I went to WP optimise for support and they said that my theme’s developers will need to assist. However my theme’s developers are not sure how to create a hook to prevent the cookies cache on the filter and they have asked if there is any code or any document they can use on how to create the hook for the filter? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
