    Hi

My WOOF – WooCommerce Products Filter is not working when I activate the WOOF by Category plugin. There seems to be somekind of javascript conflict. Nothing happens when the filter button is clicked. I really need the by category plugin to be active because my client needs different filters for the categories on the site…

Any way you can look at this ? Here is a page with a product category that should be filterable. Notice also how all the other filters, price, color for example are missing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

It is not related to my plugin, but to the bug in WOOF plugin caused by improper script compression.

In console, you have an error: https://take.ms/f7QJj

Problem is in woof_get_submit_link (front_comprssd.js?ver=4.9.4:1). If click on this link, and uncompress the code by {} in browser, you will see: https://take.ms/TgxXx

This is bad js code, and it cannot be properly executed. Please compare it with the source code in the file wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/js/front.js.

On /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=woof page, select Advanced tab, then Options sub-tab inside. Set “Optimize loading of WOOF JavaScript files” to No.

And please pay attention to author’s comment:
“This option place WOOF JavaScript files on the site footer. Use it for page loading optimization. Be care with this option, and always after enabling of it test your site frontend!

Thank you, setting this “Optimize loading of WOOF JavaScript files” to No did the trick it seems

One more question. On this page https://nyr.rsimport.is/voruflokkur/garmin/sportid/hlaupid/ I have a drop down with a special filter for this category. When something is selected from the drop down the drop down disappears and when you click Endurstilla (Reset) the drop down does not appear again. Why is that happening ?

I have to debug this issue.

Please let me know all the settings of WOOF plugin on your site:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=woof
    – Structure, Options and Advanced->Options tabs.

Or, if you don’t mind, give me a full admin and ftp access to your site. In this case, do not publish access data here, but send them to my email [email protected].

    Thank you.
