    Hi team,

I’m just wondering if theres a way to get the filters working on the search results page? I can see theres a There are no filter terms yet warning showing. The filters work fine on the normal shop/category pages, just not on the search results page.

Any help on resolving this greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @lisapearsonnz

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

You need to use the Woo product search widget. And it seems you are using the AWS plugin for it. Just using the search in this way https://www.kilwell.co.nz/?s=kilwell&post_type=product it will show everything correctly just won’t show the products for some reason, more likely because of your customizations and settings.

Thank you Victor for your quick response ?? I appreciate it.

Just to clarify, would I need to modify the AWS plugin settings? Do I need to update anything for the Filter Everything plugin?

The errors I see for the Filter Everything plugin as below:

    ” Possible reasons:

    1) Filter’s criterion doesn’t contain any terms yet, and you have to add them

    2) Terms may be created, but no one post that should be filtered attached to these terms

    3) You excluded all possible terms in Filter’s options. “

    Many thanks.

    Hi @lisapearsonnz

You can do a simple experiment, turn off the AWS plugin, and use the product search widget, to check if everything will work with it. If yes then it is simply not compatible with AWS as more likely it can modify a query or request on the search page. In general normal search should contain only this GET parameter at the end ?s=searchtext&post_type=product

Thank you Victor, Are there any alternative plugins I could try use instead of the AWS plugin for the filters to work on the search results page? Any recommendations greatly appreciated ??

    Kind regards,

    Hi @lisapearsonnz

We are planning to integrate compatibility with future updates so that the Search field in our plugin can use the advanced search capabilities of Relevanssi. And in general make them work together. At this point, we cannot recommend any plugin, especially for the free version.
