Filter on Subcategory

I can’t seem to create a filter on a subcategory. I have tried adding a filter on category and selecting the subcategory but because the subcategory is called accessories and there is another parent category called Accessories, it is including products from both categories. I tried using the category path option but it’s not returning any results so I’m not sure if I am using the correct syntax.
