Filter Post category inside events widget

    Hello,
    I added the support for post category using “register_taxonomy_for_object_type( ‘category’, ‘event’ );” and
    everything works as I want, except for the events widget
    The category ID filter does not work with regular category, the result is a blank widget. It only works with the custom categories
    There is a fix for this?

    No, the widget is designed to work with the native event categories only. You might be able to do this with custom coding.
