Filter related images to post in 'Media'

Hi,
I have the pro-version of Admin Columns, it’s a great plugin!
I have a real estate website, we use the plugin mainly to quickly order and find properties in WordPress via their reference number.
In the admin, on the ‘Post’ page, at the top there are the normal wordpress features:
Bulk Action – Apply, Show all dates…. And then there is a dropdown created by Admin Columns which shows us the reference numbers in a dropdown list. If we select from the dropdown the post we would like to view, the page re-loading showing us only this post.
However, in the ‘Media’ section in the admin – there is the same dropdown of reference numbers. But when we select the reference number from the list, nothing happens. It would be great if it could show the related images to that post.
Is this possible – or how else can I view in ‘Media’ the related images to one post.
