    Hi,

Love the plugin! I’m having a little issue, the filter set doesn’t show on my search result page.

I’m using Bricks Builder and i use the template system of Bricks for all my Products archive.

The template I created for my product archive also used for search results. The problem is that the filter set only works on the archive and is not displayed at all on the search results page.

    Thanks!

    Hi @jee6

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Can you send the link to the page with the issue so we can check it?

As you can see, the filters set doesn’t recognize that the archive and the search result use the same template.

    Shop Filters work

    Search Results Filters doesn’t work

    Hi @jee6

Are you sure that you have a widget area displayed on the search page? Try to place a shortcode in the template to check it, it should work normally.

    Hi,

There is no search page (or template). I use Bricks conditions so that my search results use the same design as my shop’s archive (which is normal when it’s for an ecommerce).

So the widget is there, but detects the search as if it were another page. The solution would have been to choose the search result page in the “Where to filter” option but I need it for the archive and it’s impossible to have 2 choices.

    Hi @jee6

It might work in a way that the search page uses a unique query (even though you are using the same template), not the main one as it should. And that’s why it can work in such a way, also if you are using some type of search plugin there might be compatibility issues and it wont filter anything.

It is possible to choose any page where you want to place a filter set with the PRO version of the plugin, you can create multiple filters and place them where you need them. The free version is limited in this case.

    Best Regards – Victor
