• Hi there,

    is there a filter or hook, that allows me to add a custom link before and after the ones generated by the plugin.

    I’d like to link a section of the page that’s outside the content.

    Thanks,
    Simone

    I’d like to achieve this:

    <ul class="ez-toc-list ez-toc-list-level-1 ">
    <li>Custom link added with hook or filter</li>
    <li class="ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-2"><a class="ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-1" href="#description" title="Description">Description</a></li>
    <li class="ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-2"><a class="ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-2" href="#learning-outcomes" title="Learning outcomes">Learning outcomes</a></li>
    <li class="ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-2"><a class="ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-3" href="#tentative-schedule" title="Tentative schedule">Tentative schedule</a></li>
    <li>Custom link added with hook or filter</li>
    </ul>

    I hope this is more clear. Thanks

    Hi, thank you for letting us know. Unfortunately, at the moment, we don’t have any filters in our plugin. However, we have raised a GitHub ticket regarding this request, and it will be addressed in the upcoming update. In the next update, you will have this filter to achieve the same output as you wanted.

    Here is the ticket: https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/Easy-Table-of-Contents/issues/718

    Hi, we’ve released a new update, version 2.0.64, where we’ve addressed your request. You can now use this new filter ‘ez_toc_add_custom_links’ below to achieve your goal. This filter enables you to modify HTML and add custom links. Please update the plugin once, clear the cache, and give it a try. Let us know if you have any other concerns.
