Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I have two test wordpress installations. On the clean install the plug-in works just fine. On the other one with some content the plugin won’t apply the filters it always shows all posts.
I switched themes and deactivated all other plugins.
Could the post/page structure have affect on the plugin in anyway?
The shortcode shouldn’t be the problem it worked on the other wp installation just fine.

Howdy wordpress_user4711 (catchy name, by the way) ??

I switched themes and deactivated all other plugins.

That didn’t do it, eh? Hmm. That would have been my first suggestion.

    1. What themes have you tried?
    2. You’re using the exact same shortcode o
    3. n each install?
    4. Do they both have the same permalink structure?
    5. Are both installations on the same hosting platform? (shouldn’t matter)

Could the post/page structure have affect on the plugin in anyway

    It really shouldn’t.

    1. How many pages are in your test install with content?
    2. Is there anything that’s different about the content, or are they straight ahead posts and pages?

    Cheers,
    Eric

Hi Eric, thanks for the quick reply.
I’ve tried Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve and just now Contango in which it magically works. After switching back to my old theme it still works. Unfortunately no idea why, I’d really like to know it though have been working on it for 2 hours.

Do you have any caching turned on? Using WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache or the like?

    No, nothing of that.
I played with the permalink structure though. But after that it still didn’t work only after switching to that other theme.

Could you have had Pretty Permalinks turned off? If so, that may have done it.

No, not that I know of..
Anyway, it’s a cool plugin and looking at this section awesome support. You’d wish that for commercial software.
