Filterable Grid and Search box not working together

  • Hello. I’ve got the pro version of the plugin. I’m having an issue using the Filterable grid in conjuction with the Search box.

    The filter tabs work great, but if I enter a search term, and then try to click one of the filter tabs, it loses functionality completely. If I clear the search box and try again, it still has no functionality, so I have to refresh the page to get it all working again. So once the search box is engaged, the filter tabs completely stop working.

    Secondly, the expected functionality is if I have a filter tab engaged, I would expect the search box to ONLY search the filtered posts from that filter tab, but instead it searches ALL the posts, regardless of which filter tab is engaged.

    Is there a combo of settings I need to use in order to make these two features work together? Thanks in advance.

    We understand the issue that you’re facing with Filterable Grid in conjunction with the search box.

    The problem is that our Filterable Grid pulls all the posts and then applies filters to them. After that, when you search for a term, all previous posts are replaced by new posts, and as a result, Filters are not working.

    We’ll come up with new Ajax Filters to resolve this issue. But I’m afraid this will take time.

    I’m going to leave this issue open and will let you know after the update.

    Ok so if I disabled the ajax search and use the page load/button submit version, it works. So I’ll do that for now instead, but yes please let us know when the ajax versions is fixed, that’s a much nicer interface. thanks!
