    I would like on left hand site in the global view to see categories and be able to select sub cataegories

    Yes it is possible. Once the categories are setup the filters will automatically be created in the sidebar. By french naming do you mean translating the plugin to french?

    We have members of our support who speak french if you would prefer to reply in french.

    I found my answer and have been able to rename label in french
