Filtering on Sermon Archive Page

I have enabled the alternate layout on my archive page, but it seems that the filtering options aren’t available anymore.

I know the filters work, because I used the short-code to rebuild the page here: https://harvestbiblemadison.org/all-sermons/, but I would rather use the built-in page.

I checked through all the settings and there doesn’t seem to be a setting for the archive page and the filtering.

Any ideas?
