Filtering with parent and child taxonomies as dropdown.

    Can I use the parent taxonomies as a “Brands” dropdown and the child taxonomies as a “Model” dropdown in filter everything? and can I also have a condition that if the parent taxonomies is selected then it only show the child taxonomies? if you have tutorial on how can I do that then that would be very helpful.

    Hi @mikimaws404

    Theoretically yes. You can do it with the PRO version, placing two filter sets on the page, and using include/exclude functionality.

    Practically, it is not the best approach. Besides, parent categories will show all of the items in chield ones.

    Use ACF to separate everything on custom fields and that would be the best approach. Or product attributes if you are using Woo.
