I tried including and in another case excluding certain items from my feed but it seems not to work.

I have tried by category and by product name and neither one works, i also tried creating a new feed and it doesn’t work either.

I am only setting one simple filter to include a specific category, the category is properly assigned to the products. I tried the ¨is equal to¨ and the ¨contains¨ with both product name and category with no avail.
On another feed i am trying to exclude 2 items from the feed, but the filter is also not taking any effect.

    Thanks in advanced.

  • Hi yerfo,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with rules.

Could you show me a screenshot of the rules/filters you created?

    All the best,

Any word on this? I have been struggling with this issue. I have tried everything and still not working. I updated the plugin, deactivated, reactivated, created a new feed, tried by including, excluding, by name, by category, etc. it seems not to work no matter what Itry!

i have checked my error log and this is what i see:

    [13-Sep-2018 23:46:13 UTC] PHP Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier ‘5’ in /home/rawandwi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php on line 1427

    and this one as well:
[12-Sep-2018 18:01:39 UTC] PHP Warning: WooSEA_Get_Products::woosea_create_xml_feed(): Cannot write or create unnamed element in /home/rawandwi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php on line 608

they both repeat hundreds of times on the error log.

When using an ‘include_only’ filter you cannot set other rules, such as the exclude rule you made after it. After-all, it says ‘include only’.

Also, when you have done the category mapping the values of that category field changed to the Google category taxonomy ID so you no longer can filter on your old category values, you would need to use Google’s category ID to filter on.

    All the best,
    Eva

Assuming the issue at hand has been solved or is no longer important I will close the issue for housekeeping reasons.

Please reach out whenever you need more help on the topic.

    All the best,
    Eva
