Filters with pagination

Hey WP gurus

first of all, i m pretty new to WP. So I might not be asking question in a right way:

I customized portion feature for Kallyas theme (https://hogash-demo.com/kallyas_wp/) … I am using pagination for portfolio which is working fine. But the problem is with filters and sorting is working on current page.

for example: If you have 20 total posts and 4 per page – the filter and sorting will work only on 4 post on that page.

Is there is way to extend this functionality to work on total num of posts.
