Finally
-
My wordpress sites started getting hammered with brute force login attacks. It was so severe that my server memory was maxing out and services were shutting down disabling my sites. I tried a few other solutions but nothing seemed to really be stemming the tide of unwanted traffic. I did another search of wordpress plugins and found this one. I noticed immediate results and so far (knock on wood) my websites have been loading and performing much faster. The only problem I’ve encountered is that since I changed the login url the links in the comment notifications no longer work but that is a minor problem.
