We’re working on this feature as reported in several thread (including https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/delete-original-image-after-smush/). For now, you can manually delete -smushed files in you media library, but we definitely advice you to wait for one of our next release which will include natively this feature.

We’re happy to announce you that the removal of backup files (-unsmushed) has been released (0.3.0) !

You can now disable the preservation of -unsmushed files, and you’ve got a batch to delete older -unsmushed files.

We advice you to read carefully these instructions before using it.
