    Hello

Your “Broken Link Checker” plugin can find links to embedded videos that have been removed from any source site, not just YouTube, and 404 errors appear in my site’s player?

(In the source sites from which I receive videos, the embed links are <iframe src=””> tags)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @gonchar5,

Please take our apologies for the delayed reply.

The Cloud version of Broken Link Checker can’t check iframe tags. It only crawls regular <a href="..."> links on the site.

The Local version can check src attributes only in certain types of iframes. You can select these link types in Link Checker >> Local (old), under “Which Links To Check“: https://prnt.sc/utOmPoa2bndC

If the iframe’s src attribute is empty, or has some link (which doesn’t look like YouTube, GoogleVideo, DailyMotion, or Vimeo embedded video), than Broken Links Checker (Local version) will not be adding it to the list of links to check.

But if the src attribute contains for example youtube.com/embed/, it will be checking that iframe.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Dmytro
