I’ve done a ftp file transfer trough filezilla. When I go to my wp page and I am wanting to load up the video, I can’t locate it in my media library. I’ve spent a lot of time looking at videos but I don’t think I am any closer to a solution as to what type of pluggin I can use that will enable me to either load the file into my media library or simply locate it and load it up. Can anyone assist me? Thanks

Your Media library is more like a catalogue than a file browser, simply uploading the file to the right directory doesn’t add it to the Media library.

If you do have to upload files separately from WordPress’s Add Media button or Media > Add New in your site’s Dashboard, use https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-from-server/ to add them to your Media library.

    James,

That worked perfectly. Thank you so much. When I run across this question, I will try to help the next person.

If I could ask one more thing. I’m using Beaver builder for my page building. I had the option of starting the video automatically upon opening the page. It worked perfectly on the my regular computer. But when I opened that page on my phone, I still had to hit the start button. Any clue as to what I need to do to enable it to start automatically on small devices?

    Thanks again,

    Val

For that, I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/beaver-builder-lite-version so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
