    Hi Danny,
Thank you for creating this plugin! I love the idea. Tonight I cannot find where to customize the text or placement of the plugin. It doesn’t show up in my Widgets list, and I also don’t see it in my Mailchimp for WP settings either. It automatically covers the home page menu and so may be incompatible with my theme.

    My website is mackenzian.com

    What am I missing?

    Hi mackenzian,

That is strange, there should be a menu item available under MailChimp for WP > Top Bar. On which version of MailChimp for WordPress are you?

If it covers the home page menu then it might indeed be incompatible with your theme. I am thinking about how to prevent this from happening but it’s not that easy. I might be able to add a setting to make it stick to the bottom instead of the top?

    Let me know! ??

Yes, I was just editing my post while you were replying. I found a wholly new submenu in the vertical WordPress menu, after Settings. That’s where I am customizing it now to see whether it will fit for me. I have to create a new list because my first one has more required questions than it allows for.

    I’ve marked my question resolved!

I am using Version 2.2.3 of MailChimp for WP.

Great, thanks mackenzian! Glad you figured it out. ??

PS. Should you have a quick minute to spare, a plugin review here on www.ads-software.com would make me quite happy. ??

I just installed the Mailchimp plugin and then the Mailchimp Top Bar plugin. The mail chimp bar displays at the top of the site (https://staging1.sweetonion.net), but when I go into my list of plugins, I cannot find a “Settings” link for Mailchimp Top Bar. There is only “Deactivate” and “Edit.” And unlike Mackenzian, I cannot find a submenu after settings (but perhaps I am looking in the wrong place?). My theme is Canvas by Woothemes.

I btw deleted the Mailchimp top Bar plugin and reinstalled it, but that did not change anything.

Please tell me where to find the settings. Thank you!

Nafeesa: Go to your Word Press Dashboard. Expand the left-hand menu. Scroll down to the very bottom.

    Hi Nafeesa,

mackenzian is spont on! There should be a menu item under MailChimp for WP > Top Bar (screenshot).

Aaaaah. Thank you Mackenzian and Danny. I have found it.

Hi Danny! Thanks for your plugins, they are great!

Did you ever make a setting to make the bar sticky to the bottom? Or is there CSS to do this. I would love that! Thanks.
