no could not find site on google

it’s helpful to have posts if you want indexing

when you type https://www.thamesvalleywhites.co.uk in the search bar i get my page with a NOT FOUND message across it, but when you click on my home page via the menu it disappears???

I get your site from the search bar and when I click on “home” I see info about your site

@leeds1, about your initial question, how to find yourself on google search. when others links to you or when your content pings google, google bot comes to your site and crawls it and you get indexed.

though, there is another way, it takes time and is not all that cool, but you can submit your site to google search – google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl this is another way to get into google search.
