Finding Single Sign In Themes Covering All Business Aspects

  • I post here, because posting this same challenge in other general forums has come back with scratch! I think it’s because the average users in the other forums use the plugin and themes people in this forum build.

    Anyway, it’s 4th down and 20 and I “NEED” a solution, so I am hoping I came to the right forum.

    Single Sign-in entry, to a theme or culmination of plugins that captures that single point of entry and then allows the client to see their entire history with your organization. That would include the following: estimates, invoices, service history, and allow them some flexibility in setting up their individual accounts, alerts, multi-sign-in levels, ie a company with more than one user needing to assign different levels of visual overview of the account. Meaning, the standard user can sign in and see just the service history but not the invoicing/estimates, while the executive level gets to see the total view of account history. Same with multiple location clients. Where a client in Boston can’t see the client in Philadelphia, but the executive branch can see them all.

    I know I am asking for a lot! And I know most themes are very upper level, standard type themes which do not drill down to this level. But I am hoping out there somewhere, there is an entity which is paying attention to this and providing that much needed service for would be clients.

    Also, on the ticketing side, I need a ticketing system that doesn’t simply copy email transactions. When an email account changes, those links become obsolete, so that is a very ineffective way of keeping service call history. I need a single point ALL-CAPTURE style service point for my clients.

    I’m currently using WooCommerce and have attempted to tie in several service plugins with it, but what I get is a system where the client has to sign in for WooCommerce, then sign in for the service ticket separately! That doesn’t work at all.

    Also, when they do sign in, it’s a totally open view and there’s no drill down or filter control whatsoever on that account.

    I appreciate any help that you might provide. Again, I come to this level of forum because you are the ones who create these things! You’re the ones who have the greatest knowledge on what would be required to have this level of fields all tied into one single theme. Or, at least which plugins would play nicely together to give me the same result.

    The more specific your needs, the less likely it is you’ll find a complete solution in existing themes or plugins. The next best option is to assemble various plugins to achieve the functionality you need. As you’ve apparently realized, various plugins don’t always play well together. And existing plugins still may not do things exactly as you wish.

    Then you end up needing custom development. To save time/money, it still makes sense to utilize existing plugins to the extent practical. They likely would need modification to work exactly as desired. Bespoke code can fill in the gaps and tie everything together.
