Finding the right plugin for custom header image

Wordpress themes all have a header banner image. Then the blogposts and widget area comes with sidepanels etc. Then at the bottom is the footer.

I need to find a simple plugin that creates the header image for me so that I don’t need to be dependent on finding a theme that does that. I just need the simple theme like “Writer” which does not have a header image in the theme. And then I want to install a header image plugin instead to do that.

Do you know of a plugin like this?
