This is a great plugin when it comes to searching every piece of the WP database and presenting everything from pages, images and files. Since the plugin is thorough, it’s also pretty demanding, making some large searches very slow. I’d rather have a slow search that finds what you need, though, so I’m fine with it.
I need this because my searches need to find content that’s hidden under extra tabs in WooCommerce and other stuff that doesn’t render until it gets activated by the user. The normal WP search can’t seem to handle that properly.

There might be problems with DIVI and cache that beaks the site design.
I’m using DIVI with a custom template for search results and I’ve used WP Fastest Cache and I’m currently using Proxy Cache Purge.

When the sites cache is deleted or purged, which normally happens if new content is added to the site or something gets changed, two problems might occur.
Either some or all of the site’s css fail to load or SOME searches break the templates. Strangely not all searches.
I use “Index Search” with “Inverted Index Search Engine”.

The quickest fix I’ve come up with is the following:
1. Disable Ivory Search.
2. Reload the page. (to see that the search bar is gone)
3. Hit clear cache from your cache plugin.
4. Go to DIVI/Builder/Advanced and hit the clear-button.
5. Reload the page. (to see that css and everything looks OK)
6. Re-enable Ivory Search.
7. Check that everything is back to normal and try a few different searches.

Try the site in more than one browser to be sure that it looks the same and you’ll be fine until the next update. And with update I mean:
A new DIVI-update
A new Ivory-update
A new cache plugin-update
A new page content update.

If you feel that you might have to be up for the task above. This could be the plugin for you.
