• If you are a developer and you clone WordPress sites to save time, proceed with caution. I have got locked out with my login credentials for either of two reasons. First, because my UN and PW were cited as incorrect, which they were not. Second, because I was asked to prove I was not a robot, when there was no checkbox to tick. The activation notification informing that plugin works/has succeeded to the contrary notwithstanding. What to do? Delete site and start over? If you have access to the server, go into site files, wp-content, plugins and find Cloudfare Turnstile plugin and delete. This will enable you to log in with your credentials again. Then purge the database cache. Next go to Cloudflare and log in. Delete the site from its record. Next create a new Turnstile record for your site. Go back to WordPress and reinstall the plugin. A notification should tell you plugin succeeded. Do not accept this at face value. Go back to Clouflare and copy the keys and paste them on your site in place of the prefilled keys. The issue seems to be that cloning sites also clones the keys which persist even after you deleted and reinstalled plugin, even if you turned off the plugin before cloning. On the second issue, be careful about ticking the managed checkbox option. This will eventuate the prove you’re not a robot option, even if there is no box to tick proof. I’m going to assume some people, perhaps including the developer, already have Recaptcha installed when they did testing. Other than that, kudos to the developer and to Cloudflare. Terrific plugin to have.
