    Hi Murali,

Happy New Year, we hope you’re going well.

We are trying to setup Firebase API httpv1. The plugin is being setup from scratch. When we browse and upload the .json file provided from Project settings > Service accounts > Firebase Admin SDK > Generate new private key, it appears nothing happens. We have the “Use latest version of Firebase api httpv1” toggle turned on, also. The message still remains on “Service account data not available. Upload now”. Saving the page does not make any difference.

Also, will the Firebase Server Key and Firebase Public key still be required? It seems this was a legacy requirement. We are using plugin version 1.77.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi

I tried in my site, i am able to upload the data in the file. Please note, if you click on upload file, it will read the file and it will update it in database immediately for safety reasons, it will not store physical file in the server. Once it is updated it will show message as shown in attached screenshot,

    Hi Murali,

Unfortunately, we are not having any luck. To test further, we have created a new installation of WordPress with only the PNFPB v1.77 plugin running, but we are still seeing no success.

    Thanks.

I have also verified in private window incognito as well as in normal browser, it is working for me. Please make sure whether you have any cache or CDN content deliver network cache in your hosting refresh it. (reading of file to update in database is using javascript with php ajax routine) or Please let me know console.log errors.

    Hi Murali,

We don’t have any caching or CDN running, and don’t see any errors in our browser console. Would you be able to test it on a clean install of WordPress with the PNFPB plugin?

    Thanks for your help.

Please fill all firebase credentials projectid, api key, public key and message sender id, save the changes. After that you will be able to upload the file. I will move uploading file out of this condition in next release.
