    Hi there

Can anyone provide assistance on an browser issue for a site I have created for a client using a custom theme.

    https://www.chiswickbazaar.com

It works fine on Chrome, Safari, IE but in Firefox the main post text is replaced by this link:

And I can’t work out how to fix it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Kerri,

Have you tried disabling plugins, then enabling one at a time to see if one of them is causing the issue?

I’d also try the default theme to see if the issue occurs there.

This will narrow down if it’s theme or plugin related ??

Also, I can replicate the problem in FF (Mac), but it works in Safari.

Thanks so much for the reply – i’m trying these options out now – will post results back soon…

OK – the error is not present when the default WP theme is activated. So, I think it is down to something I have done in customising the theme I have applied…

What can I do now to track down the error – i’m not sure whether I need to amend a theme php file (and which one!) or just the main style.css?

I’ve got so far but this has really got me stumped!

I managed to hunt the problem down – was a conflict in the loop.php file regarding the entry metadata and the entry content. Firefox now displaying the home page as it should look.

Many thanks for taking the time to respond to my request for help.

    All the best

Good work, glad you got it sorted! ??
