    Hello everyone,
does anyone know why i cant go into mylocalsupport.com.au/admin? this is the message Im getting. I have tried to delete the plugin on my host account and it doesnt fix it and the themes?

How can I fix this? Do you think it has something to do with my filezilla?

    Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at mylocaloutsource.com.au

Check the address for typing errors such as
    ww.example.com instead of
    https://www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
    connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

They both have that file. If that’s your theme, we’re good to go. If not, we’ll try one, then the other.

I think you’re using 2011 according to what I can see. Open that one.

okay i doubled clicked on the functions.php file (2011) and it says target file already exist, option to overwrite etc? which option do i pick?

Not knowing FileZilla, I would guess a single click to select the file, and then look for a button or command to download it. Once it’s on your machine, then with it still selected on-screen in FZ, look for the option to edit file.

It is important to read and understand how to use an FTP Client such as FileZilla…Please spend some time on that so you understand your own last question.

    HI Bill,

done – hopefully :O) i have added the two lines in notepad and saved it.

(SWD: thanks for the admonition ??

OK, I take it you altered the downloaded version with notepad instead of editing with FZ? Just as well (maybe better), but make sure you still have an unaltered copy on your computer too. A single wrong character in this file can mean the site doesn’t load.

If you’re satisfied that your two lines meet the instructions from the Codex:

The “Home” setting is the address you want people to type in their browser to reach your WordPress blog.
The “Site URL” setting is the address where your WordPress core files reside.

Note: Both settings should include the https:// part and should not have a slash “/” at the end.

you can upload it to the theme folder and continue with steps 3 through 5 there.

    Bill

    (@chubbycrow)

When you upload, be sure to select the folder you are uploading to (2011) and replace the existing functions file.

Please use NotePad++ and take attention to the formatted output.

should I include the word blog, if im not doing a blog?

I have read this thread and frankly I think it should be closed.

I can only assume I am to blame for that, so feel free to take over if you like, Seacoast.
