    Hi guys,

I’m working on my site and using Photon to store images. I’m having trouble with the image download size on Firefox.

Check the issue out at my website. Let’s take the human_chess.png file as an example. In Chrome and Opera the download size is 131kb. In Firefox the download size is 594kb. The outputted size of the image is 792kb which is the full size of the original.

When you combine the effect of several images you end up with pages which are much larger on Firefox.

Is there something I’m doing wrong on my end or is there a bug on your end? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    James

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

You don’t appear to be using Photon to serve this image at the moment: all versions of the image are served directly from your site:

Could you try to enable Photon on your site again, so I can take a closer look?

    Thanks!
